Chris Douglas-Roberts of the Memphis Tigers should be considered for The Wooden Award. There should be no doubt that he is at least a First Team All American! He undoubtedly is the best player night after night, on a team that will yield several players to the NBA! He had an awesome game against UAB and he helped the University of Memphis to escape a sure loss. CDR for the Wooden Award! If Michael Beasley is having a better year, CDR should at least be a finalist for the Award! This guy is the truth!

The Memphis Tigers are #1 in College Basketball!
The Memphis Tigers are #1 in College Basketball! Why are they so hated? Do these great young men deserve the comments that they receive from many sports announcers? One announcer stated in one of Memphis' early games, that these young men only play for agents and posses, did these players deserve this? Could the fact that the Memphis Tigers don't have one white player, draw the ire of these announcers who are mostly white? Why aren't the Tiger Players described as heady, basketball-savvy, and fundamentally sound?

University of Memphis Basketball
The University of Memphis basketball team is coming off of another stellar season. The team only loses one player, Jeremy Hunt, to graduation. The back to back Elite 8 appearances has Tiger fans hungry for a national championship. Here are several video clips to show what Memphis fans should be excited about. They are video clips of Derrick Rose and Jeff Robinson. Both of these talented newcomers should contribute and help take our stellar team to the next level. This upcoming season will be filled with expectations and hopefully this is the year we will win the big one!
